About Me

I'm currently a post-doctoral fellow in Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of South Carolina, working with Dr. William Matchin in the Neurosyntax Lab. My research interests include lexical and syntactic processing, bilingualism, language acquisition, and aphasia. My dissertation research focused on how cognates function in the bilingual mental lexicon. My current projects continue my dissertation project and expand the scope to consider how aphasia may affect lexical and syntactic processing by bilingual speakers.
