About Me

I'm a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of South Carolina, working with Dr. Dirk den Ouden in the Neurolinguistics Lab and  Dr. Mila Tasseva-Kurktchieva in the Second Language Research Lab. My research interests include bilingualism, language acquisition, and lexical and syntactic processing. My dissertation research focuses on how cognates function in the bilingual mental lexicon. I currently teach introductory Linguistics courses. Ask me about my research, teaching resources, or life as a PhD student.
